an intro. of sorts? slash a welcome for myself by myself.

i've slunk on over to dreamwidth (thanks to vortex! thank you, thank you!), and i will mostly abandon my old lj in the process. well, 'cept for community-stalking and the like.

profile and journal here still ultimately mundane. i wanted to post an entry before i tinkered with anything to show that i do, indeed, exist.

so. two icons it is! i also really really really want one of those fancy, customized, colorful, poetic, dskgds;lkfa; borders and headers and such. this should be a journey. one of interminable length, no doubt, considering my, uh, skill with such matters.

but!! a new account equals a new start. let's make the most of it, yes?

i'll be back to mess with customization surely sometime soon. a summer with no job and no (real) homework lends me lots of time.
